Second-hand models sold through Ferrari UK’s 15-strong dealer network are set to be backed up by Ferrari Approved, a scheme adding some piece of mind to anyone buying a car up to nine years old. Aiming to sidestep the stereotype of unreliable Italian cars, it means the average 900 pre-owned supercars Ferrari UK dealers sells each year are intended to be as good as new.

These leaked, blinding lime-green photos of the new Ford Focus RS have surfaced on the internet today – nearly a month ahead of the planned unveiling of Ford's new hot hatch. However, CAR has learned that they are computer-generated images of the Focus RS and do not reveal the finished item, which will be launched at the 2008 London motor show in July.The three shots were used in an internal presentation in 2007 and insiders claim the finished car is considerably different. There's some competition for the Tesla Model S. Santa Monica, Calif.-based Coda Automotive unveiled its first electric car on Wednesday, and it's no golf cart. The Chinese-made, four-door, five-seat sedan has everything from Bluetooth and navigation to an iPod dock and a finished interior.
